WPT® Low Inertia Brakes (LIB) are well suited for high cycle and tension control applications, such as steel shears and unwind stands. The LIB utilize a ventilated design to optimize the airflow in and out of the brake. This increased airflow allows the brake to run cooler in high cycle applications. WPT®'s Low Inertia Brakes are available in 1, 2, or 3 plate configurations with sizes ranging from 6 through 60 inches.
