Note for Heat Dissipation Capacity and Minimum Freshwater Flow N/A Rated heat dissipation requires a freshwater flowrate of 1 gpm for every 10 hp (one liter per minute for every 2 kW) and are based upon a 50°F (28°C) temperature rise between the inlet and outlet. The outlet water temperature should not exceed 170°F (77°C). Maximum inlet water pressure is 60 psi (4.1 bar). Ethylene Glycol is the recommended coolant additive. At 50% concentration in water, the required flowrate is 1.5 times the freshwater flowrate, due to the reduced specific heat of the solution.
