The Low Inertia Clutch (LIC) is well-suited for high-cycle applications, such as steel shears and stamping presses. The LIC design reduces the rotational mass during starts and stops, allowing for increased cycles per minute and reduced deceleration times. This advantage also lends to reduced heat generation.
